Shiraz Ritwik

Shiraz Ritwik, Research Director, ITO Research, leverages his background in information technology and management of the software life-cycle to identify and highlight current and emerging trends in today’s IT Outsourcing environment. Shiraz leads the India-based ITO analyst team and manages the research agenda for syndicated research reports on IT Outsourcing. He also owns key buyer and supplier relationships. In his role as an ITO expert, Shiraz authors white papers and reports for the Everest Group’s Outsourcing Journal and other industry publications. He also provides analytical insight into client projects. Prior to joining Everest Research Institute, Shiraz led and implemented several cross-functional projects.  He has established offshore application development centers in Gurgaon and Bangalore for a global financial services client, led a 22-member project team in the delivery of a hospitality industry technology solution and led the design and rollout of financial securities training content across a 60-person account team.

Shiraz’s prior positions include  Senior Associate (Program Management) at Sapient Corporation, a technology consulting firm, Software Engineer at Aditi Technologies Limited, a niche information technology services firm and Research Consultant, Sponsored Research & Industrial Consultancy, IIT Kharagpur. He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a B.Tech. in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
